The Liga Privada 10 Aniversario is a cigar that was first announced to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Liga Privada brand. The 10 Year Aniversario, along with the Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo, was unveiled at the 2018 IPCPR Trade Show to mark the ten-year milestone. These two releases were groundbreaking because they incorporated uncommon wrappers from the State of Connecticut. The Liga Privada 10 Aniversario uses a Connecticut-grown Criollo wrapper, while the H99 uses a hybrid Connecticut-grown Corojo wrapper. These cigars were limited in availability because of the low yields of these tobaccos. Fast-forward to 2023, and Drew Estate was finally at a point where more tobacco was available, thus making these releases available with some regularity. As a result, I recently got a chance to take the Liga Privada 10 Aniversario Toro for a drive and put it through the review paces.
